We're proud to welcome Mark Crumpton to the team here at Erben.
Mark's role will be Business Development Manager for South of England, and he will provide technical support to fermented beverage and food producers, offering individually tailored advice on the most suitable closures and packaging products from the wide range Erben has to offer.
Mark brings with him a breadth of knowledge & experience - "I am a Plumpton graduate with an MSc in Viticulture and Oenology, and have studied at length the processes and factors affecting cool climate wine production, a style of wine that is becoming so well recognised in the UK and abroad"
His specialism at Plumpton was in optimising sparkling wine foamability and stability, so he brings an excellent understanding of English Sparkling Wine as well as other carbonated drinks to the Erben team.
"I am passionate about enabling British producers to maximise the quality of their finished product and I hope to meet many of you over the coming months."
Having worked in vineyards and wineries around Sussex Mark has both theoretical and practical experience of wine production from start to finish. "After all the hard work that goes into producing the crop and product, having the best closure and finish possible is vitally important."
